Mitchell wants Govt to issue US visa warnings

Passengers from Ireland are having to cancel or re-arrange trips to the US at short notice because the Government has not warned them about new visa restrictions, Fine Gael foreign affairs spokesperson Gay Mitchell TD said today.

"The Department of Foreign Affairs and travel agents must warn people about new restrictions imposed by the US authorities on travellers from Ireland," said Deputy Mitchell.
