Trócaire warns oil-rich states to invest profit

Trócaire has warned that oil-rich African countries are failing to invest their profits in improving the health, education, water and other basic needs of their citizens.

A study by its sister organisation in the US calls on western nations, oil companies and international financial institutions to do more to ensure the money benefits the poor.
