Elderly woman killed in Galway crash

A woman in her 60s has died in a single vehicle traffic accident in Galway.

The incident occurred shortly before 9am today at Abbeyknockmoy.

Gardai are investigating the collision.

The woman was the fourth road fatality in less than 12 hours on Irish roads.
