Chinese man held in Wicklow murder probe

Gardaí say the man arrested in connection with the murder of a Chinese woman in Bray, Co Wicklow is a Chinese national.

The woman's body was discovered in a laneway at Woodbrook Glen in Wicklow town yesterday morning by a passer-by.

She was a 21-year-old student and it has been confirmed that the young woman died of multiple stab wounds.

The 22-year-old Chinese national is being held at Bray Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
