Fourth man charged over bedroom murder

Police investigating the murder of a man who was shot as he lay in bed with his girlfriend charged another man tonight.

The 22-year-old is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow, charged with conspiracy to murder David Barnes.

Mr Barnes was shot in his Brookvale Avenue home in north Belfast on March 8.

Two other men and a 16-year-old boy have already appeared in court charged in connection with the murder. All denied the charges.
