FG divided as deputy votes with Govt

The Fine Gael party has suffered further division today as party Justice spokesman John Deasy has voted with the Government on a controversial immigration bill.

The immigration bill is designed to put rules in place dealing with the treatment of people who come here for refuge or to take up residency.
