Higgins: 'Communities will resist bin tax'

Socialist Party TD Joe Higgins has warned the Government that local communities will fight relentlessly to oppose the introduction of a tax on refuse collection.

The introduction of the tax is included in the Protection of the Environment Bill, which is due to be rushed through the Dail tonight without debate.
