Water treatment plant to be opened in Dublin

A new waste-water management scheme to improve water quality in Dublin Bay is due to be officially opened in Ringsend later today.

The €300m facility, funded by the EU and the Department of the Environment, is one of the most advanced waste-water treatment plans in the world.
