CAB funds 'should be used to fund drug projects'

Fine Gael has called on the Government to introduce laws ensuring that funds seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau are used for drug treatment projects.

Party leader Enda Kenny said the CAB, which was established in 1996, is currently holding €16m worth of seized assets on deposit.
