Gardaí name Tipperary deceased

Gardaí have named the man who died in Tipperary overnight after an altercation.

60-year-old Jack Brett of Mullinahone died after an incident in the early hours of the morning.

Mr Brett was found in a laneway off Chapel street beside the pub he was believed to have been drinking in.

He was then removed to Cashel Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
