Man's body found in Tipperary lane
Gardaí in Tipperary are investigating the death of a local man whose badly bruised body was discovered in a laneway in the small village of Mullinahone at around 3am today.
He was taken to Our Lady's Hospital in Cashel but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Gardaí believe the man died in suspicious circumstances but as yet no arrests have been made.
The scene has been preserved for forensic examination and a post mortem is due to be carried out later today.
