Police investigate Co Down sex assault

Police in the North are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a 19-year-old woman in Bangor, Co Down, last night.

The teenager was walking home at around 9.40pm when she was approached by a man with a knife in Bryansford Meadow.

The attacker forced the woman down a pathway and assaulted her.

Police have appealed for anyone with information about the assault to come forward.
