IMO to resume discussions on LRC proposal

The Irish Medical Organisation's strike committee is due to meet later today to resume discussions about proposals designed to end the 10-week-old public health doctors' strike.

The Labour Relations Commission proposals include pay increases of between 8% and 11% for senior doctors, backdated to July 1997, and 2% for lower grades, backdated to July 1999.
