Case of BSE diagnosed in Cork

A single case of BSE has been diagnosed in County Cork this week. It brings to 102 the number of cases throughout Ireland this year.

The Department of Agriculture says the increasing age of cattle found with the condition shows the effectiveness of disease control measures introduced in the 1990s.
