Inflation rate fell 0.6% in May

Ireland's inflation rate fell sharply to 3.7% last month, according to figures released today by the Central Statistics Office.

The CSO said consumer prices fell by an average of 0.1% in May. The effect on the average inflation rate is a reduction from 4.3% to 3.7%.
