FG pledge to investigate Govt 'junket'
Fine Gael have pledged to raise the issue in the Dail of what has been called the '€30,000 junket' by government representatives and civil servants last month.
Deputy Michael Ring said the Minister for Social and Family Affairs, Mary Coughlan, will be asked to clarify her involvement in the trip to Tinakelly house in Co Wicklow by the Irish pension's board.
A Sunday newspaper today revealed that the pension board members and senior officials from the Minister's department attended the away day.
