Cullen announces new water plans

The Environment Minister, Martin Cullen, has announced a range of actions on water quality.

The measures include the elimination of water supply leakage.

An action programme on nitrates, and upgrading of rural water supplies is also included in the new plans.

Minister Martin Cullen made the announcement to coincide with World Environment Day.
