Gardaí name accident victim

Gardaí have released the name of the man killed in a road traffic accident in Galway last night.

Eamon Fahy, aged 32, from Milltown, Co Galway, received fatal injuries as a result of the accident at 8.47pm on Sunday.

The accident happened at Gortaleam, Dunmore, Co. Galway. There were two vehicles involved.

Mr Fahy was driver of one of the cars. Five other people were taken to hospital in Galway for treatment.
