Taoiseach calls for 'stronger UN' at leaders' summit

Bertie Ahern has stressed the importance of relations between Russia, the EU and America at the EU leaders' summit in St Petersburg.

The focus of the talks, which coincide with the city's 300th anniversary celebrations, is to heal divisions over the recent conflict in Iraq.
