Teagasc, the agriculture and food development authority, has announced the first outbreaks of potato blight this year in Wexford, Kilkenny and Cork.

Teagasc, the agriculture and food development authority, has announced the first outbreaks of potato blight this year in Wexford, Kilkenny and Cork.

The authority said the disease was recorded in Cork on May 6 and spread to Wexford and south Kilkenny in the past week.
