Gardaí crackdown on road safety

Gardaí are today beginning a country-wide crackdown on dangerous driving ahead of the bank holiday weekend.

The campaign – which will focus on speed, drink-driving and the wearing of seat belts – is aimed at preventing the usual surge in fatalities during public holidays.
