Witnesses sought to Dublin hit-and-run

A man has been seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident in Dublin overnight.

The man was walking along Emmet Road in Inchicore shortly after 2am this morning when he was struck by a stolen car.

Gardai at Kilmainham Station are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The victim is being treated at St James Hospital for his injuries, which are described as non-life threatening.
