Murder riddle of woman found dead in bed
A murder investigation was under way today after the discovery of a woman’s body at a house in west Dublin.
The 29-year-old was found when relatives called gardai to say they had not seen her for some time.
Officers entered the house in Walkinstown at around 11.30pm last night and found her body in a bed.
She is believed to have suffered a knife wound to the back of her head.
The scene was sealed off for technical investigations and the deputy state pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy was called to carry out a post-mortem examination.
