The Irish Road Haulage Association has claimed that Transport Minister Seamus Brennan will not implement his planned ban on "super trucks" in Dublin city centre until alternative routes for the vehicles are found.

Mr Brennan was planning to ban all trucks from entering the city once the Dublin Port Tunnel was completed.
