CORI slams Govt over low tax policy

The Conference of Religious in Ireland has accused the Government of ignoring major problems in the Irish taxation system.

CORI's justice commission said Irish income is above the EU average, while infrastructure in areas like housing, healthcare, transport and social welfare is well below average European standards.
