A 16-year-old girl has died after the van in which she was travelling hit a ditch in Co Carlow early today.

A 16-year-old girl has died after the van in which she was travelling hit a ditch in Co Carlow early today.

The accident happened in the Borris area at around 1.40am. No other vehicle was involved.
