The Irish Road Haulage Association has called on the Government to abandon its plans to ban so-called "supertrucks" from entering Dublin city.

The trucks, which are wider and higher than normal trucks, will not fit into the Dublin Port Tunnel, but the Government is still planning to ban them from entering the city when the tunnel is completed.
