Dempsey urged to clarify stance on third-level fees

Fine Gael has called on Education Minister Noel Dempsey to clarify his stance on the re-introduction of third-level fees following opposition to the move from the Progressive Democrats.

The opposition and elements within Fianna Fáil are also opposed to the move and Fine Gael has predicted that the issue "could descend into farce".
