Sinn Fein's Martin McGuinness has called on Foreign Affairs Minister Brian Cowen to demand elections in the North next month during a meeting with Northern Secretary Paul Murphy tomorrow.

The British government recently postponed the elections scheduled for May 29 after deciding that the IRA had not clearly signalled an end to all paramilitary activity.
