The Government has approved €6.5m in funding for road projects in Gaeltacht areas.

The money is part of a seven-year scheme to improve roads in Irish-speaking areas and will be divided between projects in Donegal, Mayo, Galway, Kerry, Cork, Waterford and Meath.
