Justice Minister reiterates alcohol crackdown plans

Justice Minister Michael McDowell has reiterated his promise to crack down on drunkenness and disorderly conduct in an effort to tackle street violence.

Mr McDowell said today that he plans to increase fines for people convicted of public order offences and publicans who fuel drink-related violence.
