Young man dies following ESB accident

A man in his 20's has lost his life following an accident at work in Co.Kerry.

It's understood he was working with ESB poles near Lispoll when one of them fell on him just after 5.30pm yesterday evening.

The man, believed to be single, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile in a statement this afternoon, the ESB have said they are co-operating fully with the health and safety authority who are carrying out a full investigation into the death.
