Government must move on crime, says Costello

A poll in one of today's Sunday papers says that nearly a quarter of a million people under the age of 35 claim they have been attacked on the country's streets.

The survey shows that 55 % of Irish people sampled in the group have either personally suffered a violent attack or know another victim.
