IPU tells government to pay back ex-smokers

The Irish Pharmaceutical Union is calling on the Government to re-imburse the cost of anti-smoking therapy to smokers who want to kick the habit.

The IPU says the move makes sense in the long-term as it will potentially save the taxpayer millions in cancer care costs.
