Three held as €13m-worth of drugs found

Cocaine and cannabis worth an estimated €13m were seized in Co Dublin this afternoon, gardai said.

A tonne of cannabis resin and 30 kilos of cocaine were found when officers from the Garda National Drugs Unit searched a premises in the Lusk area.

Gardai arrested three men – one in his 20s and two in their 30s – in connection with the haul.

They were being held under the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) at Balbriggan and Swords garda stations.
