USI promise legal action if fees reintroduced

The Union of Students in Ireland says it will fight the Minister for Education in the courts if he tries to re-introduce college fees.

USI says Minister Noel Dempsey has promised to give them an answer on the issue be Easter, but as yet there is no sign of any announcement.

USI President, Colm Jordan, said Minister Dempsey would be mistaken if he thought he could "steam-roll" the reintroduction of fees.
