Uninsured driver sentenced in dangerous driving case

The unlicensed and uninsured driver of a car with six occupants which crashed, killing a 19-year-old passenger, has been given a two-year sentence with 15 months suspended by Judge Murphy Yvonne at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Colin Kelly lost control of his car after beeping the horn and waving at five females who were on the footpath when he turned right onto the Clonsilla Road in the Blanchardstown area.
