€7m fund set up for fledgling firms

The Tánaiste, Mary Harney, has announced plans to establish a €7m fund to help companies starting up in the border, midlands and western regions.

The fund is a public-private partnership between Enterprise Ireland and Enterprise Equity, a venture capital group.
