'Keep peace process moving', say Ahern and Blair
British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Taoiseach Bertie Ahern called for “clarity and certainty” from all sides in the Northern Ireland peace process in a bid to keep it moving forward.
Mr Blair and Mr Ahern expressed disappointment that they were unable to publish their joint declaration for implementing the Good Friday Agreement today after negotiations on the package appeared to stumble over the contents of an IRA statement.
