Bus union will ballot for industrial action

The largest union in Dublin Bus, the NBRU, are to ballot members for industrial action next week.

The largest union in Dublin Bus, the NBRU, are to ballot members for industrial action next week.

Spokesperson Liam Tobin says that strike action may be taken as a result of Transport Minister Seamus Brennan's announcement to press ahead with privatising Dublin Bus routes.

Mr Tobin says his union can not negotiate with the minister through the media.
