Dublin shooting victim in a critical condition

Gardai are appealing for information following a serious shooting incident in Dublin yesterday evening.

One man is in a critical condition following injuries he received after being shot in the head at the "Horse and Jockey" pub in Inchicore shortly after 6pm on Saturday.

The injured man, who is in his early thirties, is being treated at St James Hospital.

Gardai are appealing to anybody who was in the Emmet Rd area of Inchicore between 5.30pm and 6.20pm yesterday and who noticed anything unusual or suspicious to contact the Incident Room at Kilmainham garda station on 01-6667000 or to call the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666111.
