Seminar to mark Cumann na Ngaedheal

Fine Gael are holding a special summit in Dublin this afternoon to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Cumann na NGaedheal. The seminar will take place at the Gresham Hotel.

One of the speakers will include former Taoiseach Dr Garrett Fitzgerald.

The organiser of the event is Fine Gael Kerry North TD Jimmy Deenihan. He says that the Cumann did an exceptional job in the 1920s to help create the new Irish state.
