IMO expected to call public health doctor strike

Representatives of around 300 doctors working for health boards throughout the country are expected to approve strike action today as part of a dispute over pay and conditions.

The Irish Medical Organisation said its strike committee will meet later today to review the situation and decide on whether to serve notice of industrial action.
