Timmins seeks clarification on CAP reforms

Fine Gael agriculture spokesman Billy Timmins TD today called on Minister Joe Walsh to outline the current situation concerning the Fischler proposals for reform of the Common Agricultural Policy.

"The uncertainty surrounding the current proposals has created a lot of confusion and uncertainty in the sector. Many farmers are worried that their operational practices may now penalise them in the years ahead," said Deputy Timmins.
