Tallaght nurses to mount work stoppage

Nurses at the day-care unit in Tallaght Hospital have announced plans to stop work between 12.30pm and 2pm tomorrow as part of their ongoing dispute with the hospital.

The Irish Nurses Organisation said it called the lunchtime protest because Michael Lyons, the hospital's chief executive, had refused a request to meet with staff to discuss a settlement of the dispute.
