US police still searching for killer of Cork nun
Police in the United States are still searching for a man suspected of kidnapping an Irish nun and cutting off her head, hands and feet.
The remains of Sr Philomena Fogarty, who was in her 60s and from Cork city, were found in a car abandoned by fugitive Adrian O'Neill in Norfolk, Virginia, yesterday.
O'Neill allegedly abducted Sr Philomena and another nun in Hamilton, Georgia, after shooting dead his own father.
The second nun managed to escape from his custody and reported the abduction to police in Virginia.
