Court refuses to acquit Continuity IRA suspects
The Special Criminal Court today refused applications by lawyers for seven men accused of membership of the Continuity IRA for a direction to acquit them.
Mr Justice Paul Butler, presiding, said the court was satisfied that on the basis of the evidence so far there was a case to answer.
