Victim of motorcycle accident named

Gardaí have released the name of the motorcyclist who died following an accident in Dromagh near Mallow, Co Cork yesterday.

The victim was 33-year-old Michael Buckley of Macroom.

Meanwhile, four people who were injured in a road accident this morning on the Dublin to Derry road have been taken to Drogheda hospital.

One man and a woman were killed in the two-vehicle collision which occurred three miles north of Ardee in thick fog.
