Fire destroys shopping centre

A Dublin shopping centre has been destroyed by a major fire this morning.

Up to 12 units of the Dublin fire brigade attended the blaze at the Greenhills shopping centre on St James road in Walkinstown at around 3am.

No one was injured in the fire but the centre has been very badly damaged.

Emergency services remain at the scene this morning, although the blaze has been brought under control.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
