Pedestrians injured in Co Antrim crash

A number of people have been injured after a car mounted a pavement in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, last night and ploughed into a group of pedestrians.

The incident happened at around 9pm at Blacks Road, in the Woodburn area of the town.

The car with two youths inside repeatedly mounted the footpath, causing severe lower leg injuries to one person and hurting a number of others.
